Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology encourages the creation of various innovations in all fields, including in the field of education. Learning media that only provides one-way communication can be modified into two-way learning media called interactive learning media. This interactive learning is intended to make it easier for students to understand Islamic religious education learning on the prayer material to be studied. This study aims to design interactive multimedia-based learning that will be useful for increasing students' motivation to learn about prayer material. The research method using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) development model has 6 (six) stages, namely Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing, and Distribution. This study concludes that attractively designed multimedia-based interactive learning will generate motivation and stimulation for student learning activities, help students improve understanding of learning materials and foster learning creativity so that it will have an impact on improving the quality of learning. This multimedia-based interactive learning media also helps teachers in the process of teaching their students. The result of this research is an interactive learning media for Islamic religious education, which is made using Adobe Flash CS 6.
